EL ES DE completes the first of two all 316L Stainless tanks for Aker Solutions.

EL ES DE’s engineers successfully utilised the advanced Solidworks CAD and finite element analysis software to completely design the supply and return tanks, based on strict requirements provided by Aker Solutions. Through the application of experience in fabrication using stainless steel, EL ES DE was able to design each tank precisely to the given requirements.

The compressed timeline of this project dictated that the two tanks, as well as spooling and other ancillary equipment needed to be turned around quickly. The design of the tanks therefore needed to be both functional as well as easily procured and manufactured. EL ES DE staff worked tirelessly to ensure that all deliverables met our client’s high standards.

Throughout the project, we consistently liaised with Aker’s QA personnel, as well as providing full documentation of each component delivered.
