Design and Drafting
Our qualified Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineers perform a host of design and drafting operations. We specialise in:

Design work is done to Australian or International standards where applicable. Solidworks 3D CAD software is used for all design work.
Analysis
Our Engineers have considerable experience performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on mechanical equipment. We are able to perform
- Static Stress analysis to determine failure modes under applied loads
- Buckling analysis of columns
- Frequency analysis to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes of rotating assemblies or structures subject to vibration
- Thermal analysis of structures subject to high thermal gradients
- Optimisation of structures to minimise material usage and mass
Solidworks Simulation Professional software is used for FEA studies.
Consulting
EL ES DE provides Engineering Consulting services specialising in:
- Design For Manufacture (DFM) consulting to assist engineering teams to reach designs which are able to be constructed given the available materials, time and budget.
- Welding Engineering consulting to assist engineers in specifying suitable welding requirements for their designs. We are also able to assist fabricators in devloping welding methods and procedures to comply with these requirements and the relevant Australian or International standards.
